Tsipouro

Greek tsipouro made in Zitsa from the local Debina grape variety

Tsipouro is produced in many areas all over Greece, as well as in the region of Epirus. The production of a good quality Tsipouro, which is refined and free from adverse substances, requires appropriate means-namely stills strict standards-and appropriate raw material, the ideal grape variety.

The grape variety Debina of Zitsa, which grows in our vineyards, is considered as the “queen” of Tsipouro. It gives finesse aromas, smooth and harmonious taste which makes it special. Our Tsipouro is always produced without anise in both versions the classic and the oak aged. The double distillation offers a more velvety aftertaste.
