Malagouzia is a variety with many vine clones and it requires special care and attention during its production and vinification.

Characteristics

Its main characteristics comprise the intense and articulate aroma with hints of white peach and flowers. In the mouth the wine is rounded, full of freshness and good acidity. It is also ideal in blending well with other varieties.

Wines made from Malagouzia are representative examples of aromatic white wines that stand out due to their vivacity and complexity. Domaine Glinavos is one of the first wineries that introduced the cultivation of this particular variety in Zitsa as well as the greater area of Ioannina.
