Rich, fragrant and complex with long aging potential

When four exceptional grape varieties merge, the result can only be one; a truly unique blend, which becomes ​​even more special as it matures in our cellars at our winery in Zitsa.

The combination of the red varieties Vlahiko and Bekari from Ioannina with the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot of Epirus, create a dry red wine with rich flavour, exciting aromatic character and aging potential of 10-12 years.

Fruity red wine Dryades is made from a combination of wine varieties by Greek winery Domaine Glinavos

Colour, Aroma, Taste

Colour: Deep ruby with brick red nuances.

Nose: The aromas of dried fruits such as cranberries, blueberries, dry figs are accompanied with notes of sweet red pepper and oaky aromas.

Mouth: Rich with gentle tannins and balanced acidity. The aromas of fruits are abundant in the mouth, while the sweet spices and white pepper supplement its aromatic profile. It has a long aftertaste with notes of dark chocolate and vanilla.

VINIFICATION

The four varieties are de-stemmed and vinified in oak vats. The vinification is classic and lasts 15 days. Then, malolactic fermentation follows and then the wine ages in French oak barrels for 18 months.
